'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial important honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would seriously consider prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
